Byvex ("we", "our", or "us") provides the Battery Reminder: Charge Alert mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how our App operates.
Battery Reminder does not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) or device data.
Specifically:
The App requires certain system permissions strictly to perform its core battery monitoring and alerting functions on your device:
Battery State (ACTION_BATTERY_CHANGED):
Monitored locally on your device to detect battery percentage, charging state, and power source in real time. This information is processed exclusively in memory on your device and is never transmitted externally.
Post Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS):
Used to display threshold alert notifications and interactive snooze/dismiss controls in your Android notification shade.
Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE):
Used to ensure uninterrupted battery state monitoring when configured by the user, even when the App is in the background or the screen is off.
Boot Completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED):
Used to automatically resume battery threshold monitoring after your device restarts without requiring manual intervention.
The App contains no third-party libraries that track users or collect data. All settings, preferences, and threshold states are saved locally on your device using Android's private internal storage.
Our App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
